Inspiration

You guys remember my inspiration post way back, and you remember what the outcome was. Well it’s about time to drop another shirt and I think this will be my inpiration for the next drop. Oakhurst is the district I moved to when we migrated to downtown Decatur. Oakhurst is my favorite district in Decatur because of all the trees, keeps it really cool and shady in the summer. Plus I hate neighborhoods without trees, something just doesn’t look right. Anyways stay tuned on when my next shirt will drop.

Vacation From Ourselves

These past couple weeks it feels like I have been going none stop. Everyday we aren’t just running the day to day tasks, we are doing much much more. Grinding, some call it. Well, Tuesday and Wednesday I had consecutive days off, which was a surprise. Now, two days aren’t enough to run down to Daytona Beach with my girl (Cought, Ryan, Cough). But I was in dire need of a vacation. I don’t have to go far to get away, all I got to do is go home.

Where Is Smokey Robinson?

I bumped into my homie Don Cannon at Waffle House on Northside Dr. in ATL. He was chopping it up with Currency about this project they had coming up. When I heard about it I told them I had to get it on camera. This project is 4 years in the making. It’s going to have some old tracks re-worked and some new tracks you never heard. Check it out.

Rebel To America

My good friend Mikkey Halsted was just recently in Atlanta this past weekend finishing up on his current project “Chicago: The Photo album”. He invited me to the studio to preview some of the tracks and give my opinion on what should make the cut. Rebel 2 America is produced by No I.D. and got my vote to lock it in as 1 of the 12 tracks.

It’s About That Money

Recently I got a chance to go be a fly on the wall at No I.D.’s studio. No I.D. was working on a few tracks with Mikkey Halsted for his album which everyone waiting for. Being in the room and seeing the whole creative process of how music is made was real special, especially with legends in the game. Peep the video, no idea when the track will drop, shouts out to Coach K!
