Voilà

February 16th, 2012

2012 is starting off right, Future’s Magic video premiered on 106 & Park as well as Vevo, plus myself and some friends [Motion Family and Phil The God] were featured in our local weekly newspaper here in Atlanta, Creative Loafing. Very blessed, but I still have long ways to go, at least it feels that way. This ain’t over night.

#Chevy100

January 10th, 2012

Recently, Chevrolet asked me to be apart of a new project they were working on where they compile photo sets from different photographers all over the country documenting Chevy products through our own eye and tracking them on this dynamic map which you can view at roadwereon.chevrolet.com. I relied on some close friends who have some pretty cool cars and unique stories from which I chose to capture through a portraiture style of photography mixed with some detail shots of the cars they own and love. Above I chose one of my favorites from each set, check out the full albums here.

Recently I was doing some studying when I came across an interview with Nigel Dick. The article was full of take-a-ways but this one quote really stood out to me.

Connecting The Dots…

September 23rd, 2011

…That is exactly what I had to do with this project. This visual was a piece of a much bigger marketing plan which Swedish House Mafia was working on for quite some time. So when I was presented with the brief, all I literally had to do was create a storyline to connect the which connected the dots. That didn’t make it easier.

This piece was for a genre I had never worked with before, and secondly it was something different then a music video. I knew it was going to be a challenge, but I like challenges, and it turned out being a refreshing shoot to work on.

This was my first time filming in NYC, I ran around Manhatten, Soho, and Harlem, and filmed my ass off for two solid days Lots of cameos on and off camera, some of my good NYC friends played a big part in helping me execute the piece and get what I needed.

The sound design really drives the piece home in my opinion, and the track at the end is actually SHM’s next single which we sampled through-out the piece.

This is the first of many projects with Kerri Kleiner at Hello and Company. This was one of the smoother jobs I’ve worked on, and I have her to thank.

Big thanks again to Kerri K., Allie M., Chris B., Jake D., Alanna R., Colin Q., and EVERYONE that helped me execute this visual. I come from wearing almost every hat in the production process, and words can’t express how grateful I am to work with talented people who have a similar drive as myself. This was definitely an experience I won’t forget and I look forward to having more just like this, and better.
